Ensure the safety and security of our nation as a Full Motion Video (FMV) Systems Engineer at GDIT. You'll apply the latest technology and provide operational support to deliver actionable intelligence for the Intelligence Community. Our work depends on the FMV Systems Engineer joining our team to support the deployment of systems and capabilities centered on our comprehensive motion imagery software suite. The FMV Systems Engineer will be able to work independently under pressure and effectively identify, recommend, and problem solve system issues to ensure systems, software, and applications are properly configured to meet customer needs in the 24 / 7 operational environment.

Basic windows script knowledge. You should be able to understand a batch file. This includes following the path of the configuration in the batch file; creating your own batch files to perform desired tasks; and troubleshooting batch files to see where they may be broken.
Reporting information to team members and leadership (status reports, metrics, logs)
Supporting daily / weekly group meetings
Knowledge of the imagery exploitation lifecycle, and various imagery systems
On call 24 / 7 tier 2 support
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED :
MAAS (Multi-int Analysis and Archive System)
Haivision, encoder technology and video routing
Well-informed of current and future technologies
Planning and tracking team delegation
Subject matter expert (SME) in one discipline / field and developing working knowledge in adjacent disciplines / fields
Strong background supporting intelligence and FMV operations
Skilled at applying and executing highly advanced technologies, principles, theories and concepts
Proficient understanding and application of engineering principles, concepts, practices, and standards
Demonstrated ability to communicate issues, impacts, and corrective actions
Demonstrated ability to clearly report relevant information
Demonstrated ability to anticipate technology, process, and skill needs
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE :
A Bachelor's of Science in Engineering, a related specialized area or field and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
Proven problem-solving skills in complex environments

The likely salary range for this position is $136,000 - $184,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
