Material Control Spec I

Job Title

We are seeking a dedicated Material Control Specialist to manage cargo processes, receiving shipments, and ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities. The ideal candidate will have experience with forklift operations and will be comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

Process cargo and receive shipments efficiently.

Unload inventory from trucks and stock items appropriately.

Operate a sit-down forklift both indoors and outdoors to transport freight and materials to designated areas.

Assist with crane operations in the yard, including loading containers and blocking / bracing materials.

Lift materials to load flat racks and containers.

Essential Skills

Experience in warehouse operations and forklift driving.

Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments.

Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Familiarity with crane operations is a plus.

Proficiency in material handling, inventory management, shipping, and receiving.

Experience with loading, unloading, and packaging.

Proven skills in operating a pallet jack and stocking.

This is a contract position based out of PORT HUENEME CBC BASE, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
