Role Overview

The Staff Accountant will support the accounting department by maintaining financial

records, preparing reports, and assisting in the month-end close process. This role offers

hands-on experience in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment and is ideal for someone

detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to grow in a mission-driven organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries for multiple entities in Microsoft D 365
• Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure proper classification of transactions
• Reconcile bank statements and other key balance sheet accounts
• Assist in preparing financial reports and schedules for internal and external stakeholders
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed
• Assist with audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
• Collaborate with plant accounting teams and cross-functional departments
• All other duties as assigned
