Maintenance Worker Paying up to $25 / hr

Job Description

The maintenance worker will be responsible for performing repairs, maintenance, and construction tasks within and around the facility. This role involves basic repairs to the building and upkeep of production areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance on facilities and production areas.
• Conduct basic carpentry and mechanical repairs.
• Identify and report items or areas needing repair or construction.
• Cross-train on production positions as needed.
• Report any unsafe conditions to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and equipment.
• Keep track of all tools used during maintenance tasks.
• Ensure the work area is properly cleaned and inspected.
• Perform pre-job checks to prevent contamination of products or supplies.
• Report any food safety issues to the production team.

Work Environment

The work environment is a food production setting specializing in peanut butter manufacturing. Candidates should ensure they do not have peanut allergies. Emphasis is placed on maintaining a clean and safe workspace.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lewisville, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00 / hr.
