CNC Programmers - Manufacturing

As CNC Programmer / Operator, you will be a vital part of our machine shop and will utilize your programming skills in a fast-paced and demanding team environment. This role offers the ideal candidate who has a strong understanding of basic machining practices and mechanical processes the opportunity to bring their problem-solving abilities and be able to effectively communicate technical details to others.

Your premium skills reviewing job orders, blueprints, and technical drawings for CryoWest will meet time-to-quality & volume goals for new products. • Responsibilities :
• Review job orders, blueprints, and technical drawings to calculate dimensions, select tools, and determine machine speeds
• Create and optimize CNC programs , specifically programming 3 and 4 axis CNC mills in Fusion 360
• Setting up 3 and 4 axis CNC mills
• Set up CNC equipment, calibrate tools, and ensure proper machine function before production
• Perform trial simulations, adjusting programs as needed to ensure accuracy and minimize errors
• Follow all safety standards, maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Required Skills and Experience
• At least 3 years' experience programming and setting up 3 and 4 axis CNC mills
• Experience working with Fusion 360
• Strong understanding of basic machining & mechanical processes
• Fixture design and tool making experience
• Knowledge of GD&T
• Knowledge of G code, M code and letter address to manually edit and troubleshoot programs
• Mitsubishi and Fanuc controls
• Experience with writing programs for other machinists and creating setup sheets
• Solid math skills with the ability to communicate technical details
• Stong written and verbal communication skills
• Outstanding work ethic, dependable with a commitment to high-quality, precise work standards
• Be a team-player with a collaborative mindset

Compensation : $38-45 / hourly + eligible for full company benefits after qualifying period. This is a full-time, non-exempt position eligible for over-time pay.

Note : your actual level and salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following factors : job-related knowledge and skills, education and experience. Additionally, you will receive access to comprehensive medical, dental and vision coverage; as well as eligibility to participate in the company 401(k) retirement plan. Life insurance is also offered. You may accrue up to 2-weeks of paid vacation (PTO) and will be eligible for 10-paid holidays per year. Exempt employees are eligible for up to 5-days of paid sick leave per year.
