Standard Hours : 36.00

Shift : Shift 4

Shift Details : This is a hybrid float position.

0.4FTE is from a rotating 4 week schedule pattern : every other Mon and Friday either 630am-3pm or 7am-330pm, every other Sat / Sun 630am-3pm; 0.5 of the FTE is from float hours

Job Summary :

At the direction of a radiologist operates computed tomography (CT) and related equipment. Performs CT studies according to specific guidelines, prescribed protocols and utilizing appropriate radiation protection measures. Reviews images; archives with associated patient data. Interacts with imaging personnel, nursing and medical staff, patients and visitors.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION :

A minimum of 1 year of current clinical experience in diagnostic radiology is preferred. Clinical student experience may be considered in lieu of one year of current clinical experience.

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION :

Post high school completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program is required.

1-2 years of college / university coursework and / or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare related field is preferred.

LICENSURE DESCRIPTION :

ARRT registered RT (R) in diagnostic radiology and current State of WI license as a Radiographer is required.

Advanced certification in CT required within 18 months of hire / transfer.

American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
