Job Summary :

Setup and process wood parts through wood cutting machines.

Job Description :

JOB RESPONSIBILITIESObtains work order to determine parts to be processedSetup calibrate and changeover machine to print specifications Feeds wood stock through machine to create specified partsMonitor machine for proper cutting drilling etc. Repair / remove jams if materials or machine malfunctionsQuality checks parts per WSC VSWI control planReads WSC parts prints tape measure caliper and depth gauges to check specifications Counts and record part quantities; completes timesheetsRecords production tickets to verify work orderMoves finished parts to storage locationPerform Daily / Weekly preventative maintenance tasks Certified and trained on proper LO / TO procedures. Follows health and safety standardsMaintains a clean workplace following 5S standardsPerforms other tasks as assignedJOB REQUIREMENTS : Equivalent combination of education and experience to perform the above dutiesBasic computer skills Ability to read WSC parts prints tape measure caliper and depth gaugesMechanical knowledge is preferred to help troubleshoot have the ability to work with computerized License as needed Ability to lift 50 PURPOSE : We are La-Z-Boy Incorporated.
