RN / LPN

Location : Nags Head Treatment Center

Position : RN / LPN Part-Time

Shift : Part-Time, Saturdays 6 : 30am to 9 : 30am

Nags Head  Treatment Center has an opening for a part-time RN or LPN with a current, unrestricted North Carolina nursing license to provide competent, safe, quality, professional care.

The Mission of Nags Head Treatment Center is to provide individualized counseling, education and medication-assisted recovery to opioid-dependent adults in a safe, medically sound, and therapeutic environment.

Summary of duties and responsibilities :

• Responsible for quality nursing care to patient population.
• Gather pertinent patient information and report to Medical Director.
• Administration of methadone and buprenorphine in accordance with medical director’s orders.
• Administer TB testing, breathalyzers, and observe & collect urine drug screens.
• Be able to take accurate blood pressure and pulse rate measurements.
• Participates in staff meetings and treatment team meetings providing feedback to staff, and medical director.
• Provide information to clinical director regarding dosage history and attendance.
• Utilize knowledge of chemical dependency, detoxification, and withdrawal symptoms during educational sessions.
• Maintain current, accurate medical documentation.

Qualifications / Requirements :

Job Type : Part-Time, Saturdays.

Pay : $150 flat rate for Saturday.
