About The Position

Job Title : Pediatric IV Therapy Nurse

Profession : Registered Nurse

Specialty : Pediatric IV Therapy Vascular Access Team

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day 3x12-Hour, Night 3x12-Hour

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum of 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted.

License : Permanent License in Hand required; no exceptions.

Certifications : BLS required.

Must-Have : Pediatric vascular access experience, including IV placement skills.

Description :

This position focuses on pediatric IV therapy.

Candidates should have experience in vascular access for pediatric patients.

Expertise in ultrasound-guided techniques and PICC line placement is essential.

The ability to assess site and vessel selection is required.

Candidates must be quick and efficient in IV insertion and monitoring.

Experience with patients that have veins that cannot be seen or felt is valuable.

Weekend coverage is required with a rotation for day and night shifts.

Solid color scrubs are acceptable for all units.

Charting will be performed using an electronic health record system.

A valid professional license is necessary for this position.
