Job Details

Key Responsibilities

Review work orders, prints, and instructions to plan procedures, tools, and material requirements

Fabricate products for the Assembly Department by cutting, burning, and welding various metals

Repair products using appropriate welding techniques and equipment

Clean and prepare surfaces for welding; set up, assemble, and tack weld parts

Restore worn or defective surfaces through build-up welding

Operate cutting and burning equipment to dismantle assemblies or cut materials to size and shape

Use sandblasting and glass-beading equipment to finish surfaces of manufactured parts

Operate industrial saws and other fabrication equipment as needed

Produce high-quality fabricated and assembled products according to specifications and customer requirements

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while adhering to all safety and PPE standards

Perform additional duties as assigned by supervision or management

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; trade school or technical certification preferred

1–3 years of welding experience in a professional or educational setting

Proficient or familiar with TIG, MIG, and stainless steel welding preferred

Completion of welding certifications or apprenticeship a plus

Mechanically inclined with strong attention to detail and safety awareness

Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job, including :

Standing for extended periods

Stooping, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and reaching

Frequent lifting up to 25 lbs and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs

Safe operation of tools and machinery

Ability to wear required PPE for welding and fabrication tasks
