BJC HealthCare System is hiring a PRN Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) for Christian Hospital (St. Louis, MO).

Position Details :

PRN : Monday-Friday 8am – 4pm & weekend coverage when needed, holiday call

Perform echocardiograms on inpatients and outpatients

1-2 years’ experience with adult echocardiography (preferred)

Requirements :

• Associate's Degree or Trade School equivalency
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

The Cardiac Sonographer performs a variety of cardiac testing, including treadmill stress testing, holter monitoring, transthoracic echocardiography, transesophageal echo, stress echo and cardiac doppler.

Responsibilities

Performs tests and procedures at various locations.

Maintains accurate patient logs.

Updates daily charges in the computer, utilizes cardiac lab menus in the computer.

Maintains cardiac lab patient files.
