A community facility near Wichita, KS, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join their growing Be havioral Health team working with Pediatrics ! Details are listed below.

Pay range : $30.00 - $40.00 / Hourly

Behavioral Health Nurse Opportunity :

Full-time, direct hire placement
Day Shift Schedule : 3(12) 7 AM - 7 PM
Rotating Weekends and Holidays Required

Setting : Pediatric Behavioral Health / Psychiatric

Behavioral Health Nurse Responsibilities :

Behavioral Health Nurse assesses and monitors patients' health status, including vital signs and medical history

Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and preferences

Behavioral Health Nurse will provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment options

Effectively interact with patients, families, and health team members while maintaining standards of professional nursing

Behavioral Health Nurse will teach patients and guardians how to de-stress, and will offer crisis intervention and emergency assessments to those experiencing a mental health crisis

Behavioral Health Nurse Qualifications :

Registered Nurse license required

BLS Certification

Experience in Psych, Trauma, Critical Care, Emergency, or overall mental health

2+ years of Pediatric / Adolescent Behavioral Health experience required

Central Kansas Location :
