Exciting opportunity to join the team at a local start-up pharmaceutical company! As an R&D Technician, you will be responsible for assisting the Scientists / Engineers with formulation and process development activities. You will act as the “hands-on technical expert” for product development and provides critical input creating quality products using robust and transferable manufacturing processes. This is a 100% onsite, 6-month temp. position with the possibility to go permanent!

Qualifications :

  • Associate’s degree in engineering, materials science, pharmaceutical science, chemistry or biology
  • 5+ years in pharmaceutical / medical device industry experience
  • Ability to handle and manipulate small parts while working under a microscope
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
  • Familiarity with cGMP and Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Comfort with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and electronic data systems

Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Performs hands-on laboratory and pilot scale builds supporting formulation and process development studies for combination products
  • Executes pre-approved written protocols or production plans with limited supervision
  • Operates production equipment to dispense, weigh, mix and mold various materials
  • Inspects components, intermediates and finished products using microscopes, dimensional inspection tools or mechanical testing systems
  • Provides in person support, training and knowledge transfer to partners at CMOs
  • Work closely with R&D scientists / engineers to design and execute experiments aligned with project goals
  • Accurately document and / or communicate findings through notebook entries, run sheets, reports, presentations and department meetings
  • Supports equipment maintenance and qualification tasks, inventory management and management of work requests
  • Follows safety guidelines and complies with company policies

    Compensation for roles at Suna Solutions varies depending on a wide of factors including but not limited to the specific client, office or remote location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Suna Solutions provides a reasonable pay scale to include the hourly or salary range that Suna Solutions reasonably expects to pay for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below.
