Police Officer
The Germantown Police Department is accepting applications for the position of police officer to fill vacancies and to establish an eligibility list for future vacancies. In addition, if you are currently a law enforcement officer and have two (2) years of continuous full-time experience, we do offer a lateral transfer process that foregoes the physical readiness screening and written testing.
We are a rapidly growing department with room for movement within the department. We have a good working relationship with our surrounding agencies. We are looking to establish and eligibility list to fill 3 vacancies. Our officers work a 4-2 rotation with 8.5-hour shifts and have access to an onsite fitness room, with the ability to work out on duty during the last half-hour of a shift.
Germantown is close to the metro Milwaukee area and is noted for its rural feel with easy access to restaurants and sporting events.
