Not Defined By FND is a nonprofit organization on a mission to end stigma and bring awareness, advocate for research and treatments, and create conversations to bring needed changes and hope for all FND warriors. Through education, advocacy, and community engagement, we aim to empower individuals affected by Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) and foster a sense of understanding and support.
As the Volunteer Social Media Coordinator, you will play an essential role in amplifying our mission across digital platforms. Your work will help build a strong online presence, engage our audience, and inspire action within our community and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, write, and post engaging content for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a compassionate and timely manner.
Plan and execute social media campaigns to highlight awareness initiatives, research advocacy, fundraising, and events.
Track and analyze social media metrics to measure the impact of campaigns and engagement.
Stay updated on emerging social media trends and tools to enhance strategy.
Qualifications
Experience with social media platforms and content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Hootsuite, Buffer) preferred, but not required.
Passionate about raising awareness and supporting individuals affected by FND.
