Job Title : Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (Night Shift)

Our client is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse - Shift Admin to join their Behavioral Health team. This is a 13

  • week contract position with a 40
  • hour work week, primarily during the night shift and evenings. Flexibility in working days and willingness to rotate weekends is a must.

    • Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide care for adult psychiatric patients, including forensic patients.
  • Utilize clinical problem
  • solving skills and management techniques.
  • Communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms.

    • Qualifications :

  • Active RN License in VA or compact state.
  • AHA BLS Certification.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a similar role.
  • Prior experience in psychiatric care is preferred.
  • Travel experience is not required.

    • Additional Information :

  • COVID
  • 19 vaccination is required, with exemptions accepted.
  • PPE will be provided.
  • Free parking is available.
  • EMR system used : Cerner.
  • Case types : General Psych (Adults).

    • MUST be flexible with some evening shifts / do office work / be on the floor / float second shift / mainly work third shift

    This person may be asked to be Shift Administrator (They serve as an RN, but do not do all of the daily tasks on the floor. This is a rotated position. They work in the office to coordinate admissions of patients, and act as a liaison to the on-call facility administrators and medical doctors after hours for any necessary reports.)
