By ensuring the driving range is clean, well-prepared, and stocked with quality equipment, you help set the tone for a smooth and enjoyable day on the course. Your work directly supports both the customer experience and the pride we take in keeping our grounds in excellent condition.

What you bring to the table

  • Make sure the space stays safe, clean, and friendly for both guests and the rest of the team; speak up and report any safety concerns to the Safety Committee.
  • A commitment to showing up reliably and working with stamina in all kinds of weather.
  • Care and consistency in picking and cleaning range balls, whether using mechanical equipment or stepping in manually when needed.
  • Pride in preparing the range so that guests are greeted with a ready, professional setup.
  • Attention to detail in keeping the work area neat, safe, and organized.
  • Jump in where needed to support the team and keep things running smoothly. (Other duties as assigned)
  • What you're responsible for (and not)
  • Collecting golf balls from the driving range (mechanically or manually when necessary).
  • Operating the automated ball-cleaning system to keep golf balls ready for play.
  • Setting up and preparing the range so it is guest-ready each day.
  • Maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
  • You won't be responsible for supervising other staff.

Ability to work weekends, holidays and evening hours as business demands. While performing duties of this position, employee is required to stand for extended periods, and frequently walk, and use hands to; finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside weather conditions. The employee frequently works in high, precarious places and is frequently exposed to wet and / or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, and extreme heat. The employee frequently is required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and / or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. Occasionally sit. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. It's important to stay calm and make good decisions under pressure, especially when dealing with stressful situations or upset people.

Must-haves, nice-to-haves, and maybe some bonus points

  • A high school diploma (or equivalent) is a solid foundation.
  • At least one year of experience as a range attendant-or in a role where reliability and physical work were key.
  • Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Familiarity with golf course equipment, tools, and supplies is a big plus.
  • Staying in compliance with our drug-free workplace policies is required.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the course is essential.
  • Friendly and approachable attitude that helps guests (and the team) feel welcome and cared for every day.
  • Comfortable communicating clearly and positively with both guests and teammates.
