Travel RN Job Details Location : Tuscaloosa, AL 35401 (Alabama nursing jobs) Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse Start Date : December 8, 2025 End Date : March 7, 2026 Duration : 13-week contract Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM) Hours per Week : 36 (option for 48 hours / week) Guaranteed Hours : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,720–$1,840 Dress Code : Solid Navy Scrubs Parking : On-site available Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama or Compact State (no temporary licenses) Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required Current BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross At least 1 year of recent Med / Surg Telemetry RN experience (18 months total RN experience preferred) Experience with Meditech EMR preferred Willingness to float to other units and hospitals as needed Med / Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care to adults with acute and chronic respiratory conditions (e.g., pneumonia, COPD, lung diseases) Manage patients with diverse medical needs, including GI issues, diabetes, stroke, and post-surgical recovery Maintain a 1 : 6 patient ratio in the main unit and 1 : 4 in the step-down unit Participate in daily interdisciplinary rounds for comprehensive patient care Float to other units or hospitals as required Work every other weekend and holidays as scheduled Ensure accurate documentation and uphold high standards of patient safety and clinical care Apply now to join our healthcare team and take the next step in your travel nursing career in Tuscaloosa, Alabama!
