About the Role

As Director of Product Marketing, you'll be at the intersection of product strategy, go-to-market execution, and customer engagement. You'll lead the development of powerful narratives and integrated GTM plans that drive market adoption, influence roadmaps, and accelerate growth.

This role is perfect for a fintech marketing leader who thrives in dynamic environments, moves fast with intention, and understands how to position data-driven financial products to enterprise buyers, fintech innovators, and financial institutions alike.

What You'll Own

Strategic Positioning & Messaging

  • Define differentiated messaging frameworks for our full product suite
  • Translate complex technology into value-driven narratives tailored to target personas

Go-to-Market Leadership

  • Lead GTM strategy for new products and major feature launches
  • Align Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing for launch success
  • Establish KPIs and track performance across product campaigns

    • Sales Enablement

  • Create and continuously improve training, playbooks, pitch decks, and battle cards
  • Work closely with Sales and RevOps to identify content gaps and iterate quickly

    • Market & Customer Intelligence

  • Lead competitive research, win / loss analysis, and market trend monitoring
  • Build and maintain detailed persona insights to guide positioning and roadmap development

    • Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as a strategic partner to Product, ensuring every feature is market-ready
  • Drive alignment across stakeholders, from roadmap to revenue

    • Team Leadership

  • Hire, develop, and mentor a high-performing team of product marketers
  • Foster a culture of experimentation, ownership, and rapid learning

    • Who You Are

    Fintech Expert

  • You must have experience in the fintech industry, ideally in B2B SaaS environments.
  • You understand regulatory landscapes, data privacy, financial APIs, and how to speak to banks, credit unions, neobanks, and fintech startups.

    • Product Marketing Veteran

  • 10+ years of experience in product marketing, including at least 3 years in a senior or leadership capacity
  • A proven track record of launching high-impact, high-growth financial or SaaS products

    • Builder & Strategist

  • You thrive in ambiguity, create structure where none exists, and move from vision to execution fast
  • Experience building PMM functions, playbooks, and enablement from the ground up

    • Market-Centric Thinker

  • Deep understanding of customer journeys, buyer psychology, and the competitive fintech landscape
  • Comfortable conducting qualitative and quantitative market research and applying it to GTM strategy

    • Skilled Communicator & Storyteller

  • Ability to craft compelling narratives that inspire belief, drive urgency, and win markets
  • Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills
