Director of Data Governance

A company is looking for a Director, Data Governance.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement enterprise-wide data governance strategies, policies, and procedures

Partner with business data owners to define data ownership and stewardship while maintaining governance frameworks

Oversee data quality initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field

10+ years of experience in IT applications, with at least 5 years in data governance or management roles at a senior level

Proven director-level leadership experience managing teams and cross-functional projects

Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks, data quality tools, and compliance standards

Equivalent work experience may be substituted for educational requirements
