Job Title : Physical Therapist

Job Specialty : Rehabilitation Therapy - Physical Therapy

Job Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day Shift; Include 4 weekend shifts in Inpatient Unit during the contract period

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week

Experience : Minimum of 2 years

License : Licensed as a Physical Therapist

Certifications : CPR / BLS required

Must-Have : Ability to work in Med / Surg Unit with inpatients

Job Description :

• Develops and implements treatment plans by integrating subjective and objective data.
• Utilizes exercise, physical agents, and manual techniques to address deficits.
• Maintains thorough records of services, with appropriate coding and billing.
• Communicates effectively with other disciplines and referring providers to enhance outcomes.
• Performs thorough and timely electronic documentation.
• Demonstrates advanced evaluation and treatment techniques as evidenced by peer review feedback.
• Actively participates in the Performance Improvement (PI) and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) processes.
• Assists in the orientation, training, and mentoring of new partners.
• Participates in cost-saving initiatives within the department.
• Maintains a high standard of patient care and provides effective communication between physical therapists, assistants, and the physician group.
• Plans and conducts lectures and training programs on physical therapy and related topics for medical staff, students, and community groups.
