Compliance and Risk Advisor

DonorConnect is looking for a full-time Compliance and Risk Advisor. The Compliance and Risk Advisor (CRA) supports organizational compliance, risk management, and safety programs to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and ethical standards. This role monitors trends, audit activities, and performance data while developing proactive strategies to address regulatory changes and operational risks. They lead incident reporting, root cause analysis, and Enterprise Risk Management processes, working with leadership and external partners to mitigate risks and strengthen accountability. The CRA develops and maintains patient and donor safety practices and initiatives, ensuring risks are minimized, regulatory requirements are met, and outcomes consistently prioritize donor and patient wellbeing while driving inspection, survey and accreditation readiness. Through education, collaboration, and coaching, the advisor fosters a culture of compliance, safety, and continuous improvement across the organization.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Training / Education / Certification :

• Bachelor's degree in nursing, healthcare administration, business administration, law, health sciences, or related field required, and / or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
• Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC), Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM), or related credential preferred
