Hours : Part-Time; Up to 24 per week
Compensation : $20 / hour
LEO Events is searching for driven, motivated, and eager students to intern with our team. Opportunities for summer 2026 vary depending on interest, competencies, and skillset. Ideal candidates are currently enrolled or have recently graduated from a 4-year university with a concentration in hospitality management, communications, public relations, broadcast media, entertainment, film & video, or another related field. This internship provides hands-on experience in an exciting, fast-paced, and collaborative environment, with ample opportunities to develop skills and learn from experienced professionals.
Interns will be assigned dual roles, selected from (but not limited to) the areas listed below. All interns must be based in one of our three office locations, as remote work is not available. Candidates will be evaluated through their resume, portfolio, and interview to determine the best fit for their placements.
- Internship onboarding and orientation will take place May 21–22, 2026, in Nashville, TN. Attendance is mandatory, and all expenses are covered.
Production Roles & Responsibilities :
Assist with pre-production schedules and timelinesBook and manage travel logistics for programsMaintain meeting notes and contact listsAssist with post-event reconciliationsOpportunity to travel and work on at least one program during internshipMedia Roles & Responsibilities :
Assist on video / media projects and production timelinesCollaborate with media team to brainstorm and develop creative ideas for new contentAssist during local production shoots by setting up equipment / props to ensure a smooth workflowAid as needed in post-production tasks, such as video editing, sound mixing, and graphics / animationsHelp maintain and organize production equipment and studio spaceOpportunity to travel and film onsite on at least one program during internshipMust have basic camera and gear knowledge with a creative filming style. Knowledge of video-editing software such as Adobe Premiere is required.Event Operations Roles & Responsibilities :
Support local events and operations executionAttend site visitsCommunicate with vendorsExecute onsite operations as directedAssist with logistics and transportation needs of certain client movementsAssist operations team with end-of-quarter financial reconciliationsPerform basic office tasks, such as recording internal meeting notes, printing, labeling, organizing, etc.Graphic Design Roles & Responsibilities :
Assist the design team in creating graphics for digital and print collateral, including social media posts, website assets, email campaigns, presentations, and other marketing-related materialsProduce items for company Initiatives and internal eventsCollaborate with team members to brainstorm and conceptualize design ideas that effectively communicate LEO's brand message and resonate with LEO's target audienceSupport the design team in the production process by preparing files for print and web, ensuring that product is optimized properly for quality and consistencyLearn and utilize filing systems, naming conventions, and processes of the department to further develop organizational skills.Must have experience working in Adobe suite.Meeting Services Roles & Responsibilities :
Support Meeting Services team :Manage registration and attendeesMeeting coordination duties as necessaryMaintain accurate and organized files for internal and external programsGather and prepare data in preparation of upcoming projectsIdentify future needs to complete projectsSupport meeting services, such as managing agendas, meeting specs, diagrams, BEOs, signage plans, materials fulfillment, shipping, etc.Coordinate client site visitsAssist with contracts and invoicesDevelop and maintain relationships with venues and vendors, both locally and through program coordination effortsAssist with financial reconciliation as requestedAssist with executing small-to-medium meetings, events and / or conferences, as the meeting services leadSupport local events team with meeting or event management services as neededEnvironmental Conditions and Physical Demands :
Employee is required to stand, walk, or sit for prolonged periods of time. Employee will be in a well-lighted, heated, and / or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation. Must be able to lift 25 lbs. Driver’s license and clean driving record required.
