ER RN Travel Nursing Job Details Location : Albuquerque, NM 87106 (New Mexico healthcare jobs) Facility : Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Hospital, Emergency Department Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse Start Date : December 15, 2025 End Date : March 16, 2026 Contract Duration : 13 weeks Hours per Week : 36 Shift : Night shifts, 12 hours (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM) Patient Ratio : 1 : 5 Weekend Coverage : As scheduled (weekend nights : Fri, Sat, Sun) Charting System : Cerner Parking : Free on-site parking Estimated Weekly Salary : $1800 - $1840 ER RN Qualifications & Requirements Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience (Level I Trauma experience strongly preferred) Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (NM RN license or eligibility to obtain) Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC (must have TNCC prior to submission), NIHSS (can be pending) Travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers with 2 years Level I Trauma experience considered No local candidates within 75 miles (New Mexico nursing jobs for travelers only) COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical / religious exemptions accepted with documentation) Personal transportation required ER RN Job Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care in a busy Level I Trauma Center Administer medications, including IV medications, following the seven medication rights Accurately document and communicate clinical findings Manage trauma and resuscitation cases, including neuro-trauma, orthopedic trauma, and traumatic brain injuries Perform triage, phlebotomy, and procedural sedation administration / monitoring Care for ventilated patients and manage arterial / central lines Float to Adult PCUs and ED Holding areas as needed Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (Respiratory, Radiology, Pharmacy, Social Services, etc.) Maintain compliance with hospital policies and complete required orientation and modules Experience the unique culture and natural beauty of Albuquerque while taking your ER nursing career to the next level.
