Overview

Utilizes nursing process and knowledge of scientific principles to provide comprehensive, age appropriate nursing care for assigned patients on a variety of medical / surgical inpatient nursing units. Assists with the shift supervision of nonprofessional personnel as necessary.

The Inpatient Float Pool provides a unique opportunity to work with a variety of pediatric patients in a variety of units. We fill in staffing gaps wherever they occur, finding out where we are assigned to work a few hours before the start of each shift.

Inpatient Float Pool includes : Medical / Surgical Float Pool (RNs, CAs & PSTs) 1 Hall

Starting Pay

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $31.50 / hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.

Remote Work / Work from Home

This position is not eligible to work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children's Mercy locations and may not work from home.
