Neurology Physician at Curative summary :

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurologist for our physician-owned practice in Covington, Louisiana, with a focus on outpatient care. This role offers professional autonomy, a 4-day work week, and no-call responsibilities, along with the opportunity to perform important EMG procedures. Compensation includes a competitive base salary and a substantial sign-on bonus to facilitate relocation.

We are looking for a Neurologist to join our practice in Covington, Louisiana, a 45-minute drive from the lively city of New Orleans. As a valued member of Physician Syntric, a physician-owned hospital and network, you will enjoy the autonomy of a non-critical care setting and a 100% outpatient practice with no-call responsibilities.

Practice Highlights :

  • Experience professional autonomy in a physician-owned practice setting
  • We offer a 4 day work week, Monday to Friday

No weekends and no rounding in the ICU

  • Outpatient setting with an average of 16 patients per day
  • Significant need for EMG procedures from Orthopedic and Orthopedic Spine surgeons
  • Work with state-of-the-art equipment, including an in-house EMG machine, to provide comprehensive care

    • Candidate Requirements :

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified Neurologist
  • Licensed in Louisiana
  • Fellowship in EMG is a plus, though not required.
  • Able to perform common neurologic tests, including EMG, CT or CAT scans, MRI, and LP

    • Compensation and Benefits :

  • Base Salary : $320K, with the potential for growth through a 40% share of collections once over the threshold
  • We offer a $50K sign-on / relocation bonus to support your transition
