ER RN Job Details

Location : West Chester, PA 19380 (Philadelphia metro area – Pennsylvania nursing jobs)

Assignment Length : 13-week contract

Shift : 12-hour night shifts (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM)

Hours per Week : 36

Schedule : Every other weekend and holiday required

Start Date : November 12, 2025

Hourly Pay Rate : $82.77

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $2000–$2100

Emergency Room RN Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department (ED) RN experience

Active Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania

Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)

Flu vaccine required (medical or religious exemption accepted with documentation)

ER Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting

Assess, triage, and monitor patients, responding rapidly to changes in patient condition

Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as ordered

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Accurately document all aspects of patient care in the electronic medical record

Provide compassionate support and education to patients and families during emergencies
