Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol Driver

As a Patrol Armed Security Professional with Allied Universal at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves interacting with visitors and staff, providing exceptional customer service, and responding to situations as needed. This post requires both carrying a firearm and driving, allowing you to actively contribute to a secure environment while embodying Allied Universal's values of teamwork, reliability, and putting people first.

Pay Rate : $21.50 / Hour

Day Time Mon 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM Sun 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and / or disturbances.
  • Monitor and control access to the location to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Identify and address security-related risks and / or potential hazards within the government facility.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and / or irregularities observed during patrols.
  • Support Allied Universal management with site-specific tasks and additional responsibilities as assigned.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Possess at least one year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, or military roles.
  • Maintain a current armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
