Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $1,876 per week in Newnan, GA

Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : Medical Surgical Duration : 16 weeks Shift : Night Hours per Shift : 12 Experience : Minimum of 1 year License : Compact or state license required Certifications : ACLS BLS NIHSS Must-Have : Charge experience preferred Patient ratio experience : 6 : 1 Charting system experience : Preferred Description : Unit diagnoses include but are not limited to general medical surgical and peritoneal dialysis. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend. No call duty is required. Floating within the facility and scope of practice may be necessary as needed. If one major holiday occurs during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays occur during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both holidays. If three major holidays occur during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving / Black Friday, Christmas Eve / Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve / New Year's Day. Full compliance is required to start on time. If not compliant in time, the push back is two weeks due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule. Traveler is expected to work with adults and geriatrics. Daily census for the unit is 36 patients. Interdisciplinary support includes various services such as physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. Skills required include continuous bladder irrigation, isolation precautions, and telemetry. Modules completed during orientation will vary by specialty and are recorded via transcripts. Two supervisory references are highly preferred at the time of submission.
