MASSAGE THERAPIST
MISSION
Create a relaxing spa experience for members and guests. Greet each client with a positive and inviting attitude, and assist each one with any requests he / she may have. To handle each client in a friendly and professional manner; make each one feel special. Customize massage services to provide personalized attention, specific to the needs and wants of the individual.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Be prepared and arrive at least fifteen minutes early for each appointment; start and end on timeEnthusiastically greet and assist each client in preparation for his / her massagePerform all massage therapy services professionally, catering to the client's needsKeep massage room clean and stocked for the next client or therapistPromote spa specials as well as ongoing services, products and gift certificatesStrive to create loyal customers and ongoing clients; encourage clients to book continuing and future appointmentsStrive to build a referral businessOffer parting wishes to all clients as they leave the spaCommunicate frequently with staff who are maintaining the appointment book to stay aware of any changes to the scheduleWork closely with other spa staff (i.e., estheticians) to coordinate the delivery of spa package servicesParticipate in club programs to promote massage and wellness services (i.e., performing chair massages at a health fair, etc.)Maintain required certifications and / or licensesOther responsibilities as assigned by the Spa ManagerESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
