POSITION SUMMARY :

Vera House is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Development Coordinator to support and advance our fundraising and development initiatives. This role is essential to strengthening donor relationships, executing development campaigns, managing fundraising events, and ensuring accurate donor database management. The Development Coordinator works closely with the Sr Director of Strategic Partnerships & Intergovernmental Affairs and plays a key role in helping secure the resources that sustain our life-changing programs.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating fundraising campaigns and donor engagement strategies.
• Coordinate logistics and support for fundraising events, donor appreciation activities, and community outreach efforts.
• Maintain accurate records in the donor database (e.g., gift entry, reporting, donor segmentation).
• Research prospective donors, sponsors, and grant opportunities.
• Prepare donor communications, newsletters, and acknowledgments.
• Collaborate with marketing team to align messaging and campaign strategies.
• Assist with various administrative duties as needed.

EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE :

SALARY RANGE

$23.00-$25.00 per hour, non-exempt
