Position : Systems Engineer V

Location : San Francisco, CA 94107

Job Description

  • Staff / Principal SDE : Sensor orchestration and data transfer
  • Develop real-time orchestration software to start, run, and manage data capture from deployed sensors
  • Quickly prototype orchestration and data pipeline for new sensors under investigation
  • Develop data conversion or modification pipelines to ensure output data is ready for downstream consumption

    • Candidate Requirements

    The candidate should have :

  • 8+ YoE
  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience

    • = 1 Scripting language (Python, Bash)

    = 1 Compiled / Embedded language (C / C++ / ?)

  • Experience with data pipeline development
  • Shell scripting proficiency

    • Bonus points for :

  • Familiarity with any of the following ecosystems : Optitrack, Manus / StretchSense / Rokoko, AR / VR headsets, Zed cameras
  • Experience with message queuing systems (RabbitMQ, ZeroMQ)
  • Experience with distributed systems
  • Experience with ROS / ROS2
  • Real-time system development experience

    • Top 3 must-have hard skills

    = 1 Scripting language (Python, Bash)

    = 1 Compiled / Embedded language (C / C++ / ?)

  • Experience with data pipeline development
