🚀 The Role: Orthotics & Prosthetics Technician

This role supports the creation of custom orthotic and prosthetic devices by preparing materials, assisting with fabrication, maintaining equipment and inventory, and ensuring high-quality production within the fabrication lab. This role works closely with orthotists and prosthetists to deliver precise, well-crafted products that improve patients’ lives.

🔍 What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail for precise patient-related assessments
• Excellent communication skills
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities
  
  

🛠 What You’ll Be Doing

• Prep custom products for fabrication under the guidance of an orthotist or prosthetist

• Fabricate orthotic and prosthetic devices with supervision
• Requisition supplies for the O&P department based on demand
• Maintain inventory levels, including mins/maxes and cycle counts
• Perform weekly inspections and upkeep of fabrication machinery
• Keep accurate documentation and fabrication records
• Attend trainings, seminars, and in-house sessions to expand skills
• Clean, organize, and maintain the fabrication area daily
• Meet assigned productivity standards
• Travel to other locations when requested (home office may vary based on staffing needs)
• Complete additional duties as assigned
