Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Powder Coat Painters to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience applying industrial or marine-grade coatings to metal components and will take pride in producing high-quality finishes that meet exact technical standards.

Key Responsibilities :

- Operate powder coating equipment in accordance with OEM instructions and safety standards
\n
Prepare and coat parts to specified mil thickness and finish requirements\n
Inspect and maintain coating equipment, applicator guns, air compressors, and ovens\n
Coordinate with maintenance personnel to schedule preventive maintenance\n
Monitor gauges, control panels, and booth operations to ensure consistent coating quality\n
Communicate operational status, issues, and improvement ideas to supervisors\n
Assist in other production-related duties as assigned by the Production Manager or Coatings Supervisor\n
Follow proper surface preparation and finishing techniques to meet Navy, shipyard, and customer standards.\n
Comply with all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and environmental regulations.\n

Qualifications : \n \n
Must pass an in-person powder coat performance test\n
Proven experience powder coating in an industrial or maritime environment\n
Strong understanding of powder coating techniques, materials, and application methods\n
Ability to read and interpret line drawings, specifications, and technical work orders\n
Excellent communication and teamwork skills\n
Physically able to stand, walk, bend, crouch, and lift up to 30 lbs for extended periods\n
Must pass a background check and drug screening\n \n
Preferred / Plus Qualifications
\n \n
Active DBIDS (Defense Biometric Identification System) card .\n
Certifications such as NBPI (NACE / AMPP Certified), SSPC / AMPP, OSHA-10 / 30 , or other industry-recognized credentials\n
