Schedule : PRN

\n \n\n \n

Shift : Mid Shift - 11 am to 11 pm / 1 pm to 1 am / 3 pm to 3 am

\n \n\n \n

Location : Bolingbrook Hospital, GlenOaks Hospital, Hinsdale Hospital and LaGrange Hospital

\n \n\n \n

Commit to work 3 days per week with 3 weekend shifts required per 6 week schedule - 1 Summer Holiday and 1 Winter Holiday - Hourly rate is $70 an hour

The role you'll contribute :

\n \n\n \n

Responsible for providing direct nursing care in a diverse healthcare environment. This position implements and monitors patient care plans and serves as a coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. This role also administers medications and treatments as prescribed, monitors patient conditions, and provides patient education and support.

\n \n\n \n

  • Ensures compliance with healthcare standards and protocols.

  • Operates medical equipment safely and efficiently.

    • \n \n

  • Other duties as assigned.

    • \n \n

  • Maintains accurate medical records.

    • \n \n

  • Participates in performance improvement activities.

    • \n \n

  • Provides patient education and support.

    • \n \n\n \n\n \n

    Qualifications

    \n \n

    The expertise and experience you'll need to succeed :

    \n \n\n \n\n \n

  • Bachelor's of Nursing Preferred

    • \n \n

  • One or more years of ER Nursing Work Experience Required

    • \n \n

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date Required

    • \n \n

  • Registered Nurse (RN) credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date Required

    • \n \n

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) for specific specialty areas Preferred

    • \n \n

  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) for specific specialty areas Preferred

    • \n \n\n \n\n \n
