🕒 Assignment Details

NBO : 8 hours

Multipliers : 1.25%

Call Pay : $3 / hour

Charge / Preceptor Pay : $3 / hour

RTO : Any time-off requests post-acceptance may not be accommodated

🩺 Unit Overview & Responsibilities

The RN will provide comprehensive patient care from admission to discharge, including pre- and post-procedure care. Candidates must demonstrate clinical competence in all aspects of care management and the nursing process :

Assessment and identification of patient needs

Development and implementation of care plans

Ongoing evaluation and adjustment of care

💡 High-Risk OB Services Provided

The Speare OB Unit is equipped to manage complex, high-risk pregnancies, including but not limited to :

Preterm labor

Hypertension in pregnancy

Gestational and pre-existing diabetes

VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean)

Prenatal diagnostic testing

Amniocentesis

Childbirth education programs

Proficiency and experience required across all phases of OB patient care — from check-in through discharge

Must be adaptable, autonomous, and confident managing high-risk OB scenarios
