QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or math preferred, or equivalent education and/or experience with emphasis in math, accounting, or finance required.
• Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS) preferred
• Minimum of five years’ analytical experience preferred.
• General understanding of enterprise risk management methods and processes preferred.
• Ability to compile, analyze, present, and interpret complex financial and statistical information to facilitate decision making.
• Must have the ability to summarize results in written form.
• Strong understanding and application of accounting principles and experience in the interpretation of financial statements.
• High skill in using computer application software for financial modeling, statistical analysis, spreadsheet calculations, word processing, and other analyses.
• Organizational and time management skills to prioritize workloads to meet time sensitive deadlines required. Must be results-oriented with the ability to change priorities as needed.
• Above average verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to interact with associates at all levels of responsibility, along with the ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy.
• Strong attention to detail required.
• Ability to travel by automobile and aircraft and be away from home more than one day and night.
