Shift : Day Shift (Monday – Friday, occasional weekends as needed)

We're currently seeking an organized and proactive Staffing Coordinator / Scheduler to join our team and help ensure seamless staffing and outstanding resident care.

Position Overview :

The Staffing Coordinator / Scheduler is responsible for creating and maintaining daily and weekly schedules for our Nursing staff This role ensures appropriate coverage for all shifts, manages call-outs, and coordinates staffing adjustments while maintaining compliance with facility policies and state regulations.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and maintain accurate Direct Care Nursing schedules based on resident care needs

Monitor attendance, approve time-off requests, and coordinate shift swaps

Respond to last-minute absences and fill open shifts in a timely manner

Communicate effectively with Direct Care Nursing Staff and nursing leadership

Maintain up-to-date scheduling records and reports using OnShift

Ensure compliance with staffing ratios and state guidelines

Assist with onboarding new nursing staff and ensure schedule integration

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred; Certified Nursing Assistant

Previous experience in healthcare scheduling, particularly in long-term care or nursing home settings

Knowledge of scheduling software (e.g., OnShift, SmartLinx, Kronos) strongly preferred

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
