Peckham Inc. - 3PL Material Handler II
Will work in a large warehouse environment receiving items from delivery trucks, sorting product by NSN and condition code and placing items in the appropriate warehouse area. They could also be picking items for outbound shipments, sorting inbound OCIE shipments or assembling / un-assembling kits. The persons in these positions will work relatively unsupervised throughout the day. Accuracy is extremely important, but speed is also a factor. The worker must be able to recognize discrepant 15-digit part numbers.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and / or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and / or move up to 40 pounds, and occasionally lift / or move up to 75 pounds.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Person needs to have the ability to ask questions and voice concern in relation to work and work environment.
