⚡ VP of Engineering

A fast-growing Wealthtech company who are trying to enable private investment managers to focus on doing what they do best : driving returns. Located in the Bay area, the strong in-office culture drives collaboration, and they are looking for someone to lead the team. They're recent $40 million series B funding means they are looking to grow FAST.

They need someone to provide technical leadership across multiple engineering teams, whilst also remaining close to the ground with the architecture. Partnering closely with cross-functional leadership to ship world class products is essential for this role, along with setting the tone through direct contribution.

Key Responsibilities :

Build and Lead : Stay hands on while managing and developing teams.

Drive Execution : Align engineering efforts to business priorities.

Set Technical Direction : Guide architectural decisions across teams.

Scale : Take headcount from 20 to 40 by the end of next year.

Requirements :

10+ years of experience, including 4+ years managing engineers and technical leaders.

Has at least 5+ years of experience in high growth FinTech companies.

Have led in early stage environments, and knows how to scale both systems and teams.

Experience working with server-side languages and web frameworks.

Been a technical lead and mentored other engineers on code reviews and best practices.

Worked at an early stage start-up.
