Position Overview :
Our client is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and highly capable Loan Partner to support loan officers with full-cycle loan processing. This senior-level role is designed for a seasoned professional who can independently manage loans from application to submission while providing expert guidance to clients throughout the mortgage process.
Office Location : South Tampa, FL (Hybrid local candidates only)
Compensation : $55,000 $70,000

Reports To and Collaborates With : Agency leadership and client service team

Responsibilities :
- Manage all aspects of the loan process from pre-approval through submission
- Price and structure loan files based on borrower qualifications and investor guidelines
- Review borrower documentation (credit, income, assets, liabilities) for accuracy and completeness
- Perform income calculations (W-2, self-employed, etc.) in line with underwriting guidelines
- Run DU / LP findings, interpret results, and prepare conditions for submission
- Register and submit loans to lenders through various portals
- Clearly explain loan products, rates, closing costs, and mortgage processes to borrowers
- Prepare and send initial disclosures, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients, lenders, title companies, and other stakeholders
- Track loan milestones and proactively resolve issues throughout the pipeline
- Collaborate closely with processors, underwriters, and loan officers to meet deadlines
Qualifications :
Minimum 3+ years of experience in mortgage lending (Loan Officer Assistant, Loan Processor, or similar role)Strong knowledge of Fannie Mae / Freddie Mac guidelines and conventional loan programsExperience running DU and LP, reviewing AUS findings, and working with lender portalsAdvanced income calculation skills (salaried and self-employed borrowers)Excellent communication and customer service skills; able to explain complex loan details clearlyProficiency with LOS systems (e.g., Encompass, Arive, LendingPad, etc.)High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple files simultaneouslyNMLS license preferred but not required (depending on state requirements)Preferred Qualifications :
Familiarity with FHA, VA, and USDA loan programsExperience with third-party processing or broker-to-lender submission workflowsBilingual (English / Spanish) is a plusBenefits :
