Experienced Journeyman Electrician

Responsibilities :

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine wiring layouts and specifications
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters and plumbers, to complete renovation projects
• Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning and safety
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements
• Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while working on job sites

Requirements :

Journeyman / Journeywoman Electrician license or equivalent certification

Proven experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work

Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings

Knowledge of high voltage systems and equipment

Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve electrical issues

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Note : Experience in frame carpentry or as a maintenance person is a plus but not required for this specific position.

As an Experienced Journeyman Electrician, you will leverage your core skills in hand tools, voltmeter usage, low voltage systems, and familiarity with NEC guidelines to excel in electrical installations and maintenance. Your premium skills in working with programmable logic controllers and experience in industrial and commercial settings will be instrumental in handling complex electrical systems. Additionally, your relevant skills in construction sites, blueprint reading, and high voltage work will ensure successful project completion. With a focus on schematics, frame carpentry, and a valid electrical license, you will contribute to high-quality electrical work in various settings.
