We are seeking a Locum Tenens Psychiatrist in Michigan .

Shift : 8a-5p, with 5p-8a unrestricted call if available

Start Date : July 5, 2025

End Date : July 25, 2025 (additional weekends in August and September possible)

Position Details :

Patient Population : Adults only (no pediatrics)

Setting : Inpatient Psychiatric Department

Responsibilities : Daily patient management, supervision of psychiatric NP, handling referrals from Muskegon and Grand Rapids EDs

Required Procedures : Familiarity with seclusion therapy, pharmacotherapy, group therapy, and restraint application

EMR System : Epic

Support Staff : 5 Psychiatrists, 6 Advanced Practice Providers

Days Per Month : Several dates in July; potential weekends in August / September

On-Call / Weekends : 5p-8a unrestricted call if able; weekends as needed

Submission Requirements :

• Board Certified in Psychiatry Required
• Active Michigan Medical License Required
• BLS Certification Required
• Willing to supervise Psychiatric NP Required
