Facility : Bemidji Main Clinic Location : Bemidji, MN Address : 1233 34th St NW, Bemidji, MN 56601, USA Shift : 8 Hours - Day Shifts Job Schedule : PRN Weekly Hours : Varies Salary Range : $20.73 - $28.68 Union Position : Yes Department Details Float between various departments, gaining experience in diverse areas of expertise in the Bemidji area! -No weekends or holidays -PRN hours between : Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Job Summary The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will participate in the implementation and evaluation of patient care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. Ensures the health, comfort and safety of patients. Documents a thorough medical history from patient. Provides technical support to healthcare professionals as needed. Counseling patients and family members, under the direction of a registered nurse, on prevention and treatment plans. The LPN demonstrates competency and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise / knowledge and utilizes appropriate age and population specific standards as designated in their assigned clinical setting. Qualifications Must have graduated from a school or college of nursing program leading to licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Associate's degree in practical nursing is preferred. Specific services / positions may have additional education, training or experience requirements. Must have attended a pre-licensure nursing program that included supervised clinical experience across the life span as part of the curriculum or have had a minimum of 400 hours of experience as a RN (or LPN) at another facility.
