Position Overview
The Facilities Operations Support Engineer will be responsible for managing small to mid-scale oil and gas facility projects from concept through commissioning. This position is embedded with the Production Operations team in Midland, supporting day-to-day facility optimization, artificial lift upgrades, and reliability improvements across Permian Basin assets.
This is a hands-on, field-integrated engineering role requiring strong technical knowledge, project management discipline, and close collaboration with Production Operations, Maintenance, and Production Engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
Qualifications
o Strong understanding of oil and gas production facilities, including flowlines, separators, compression, and artificial lift.
o Familiarity with MOC processes, PSSR, and field construction workflows.
o Self-starter who can work independently while collaborating effectively across functions.
o Strong communication and organizational skills.
o Ability to adapt to changing operational priorities and fast-paced project timelines.
