Our client West of Boston is looking for a detail-oriented Merchandise Coordinator to support our Buying team with purchase order management, vendor communication, and administrative tasks. This role ensures smooth merchandise flow from order to delivery while supporting Buyers and Managers. This role is a hybrid position (2 days onsite / 3 remote)
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare, enter, and track domestic and import purchase orders.
- Partner with Planning & Allocation to resolve order and shipment issues.
- Follow up on late shipments, discrepancies, and vendor chargebacks.
- Serve as a primary contact for vendors and coordinate appointments and visits.
- Manage samples, reports, and weekly spend tracking for Buyers.
- Provide administrative support including scheduling, filing, and travel arrangements.
Qualifications :
Experience in retail, buying, or administrative support preferred.Strong organizational and communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office and adaptable to new systems.Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
