Job Summary : This is entry to mid-level professional work primarily reviewing environmental permit applications and providing support for the compliance team through compliance investigations, inspections, and enforcement projects.

Minimum Qualifications :
Engineer I - requires a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in environmental, civil, hydraulic, agricultural or water resource engineering.
Engineer II - requires a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in environmental, civil, hydraulic, agricultural or water resource engineering, and two years engineering experience directly related to the field in which the position is assigned.
An advanced degree may substitute for a portion of the required experience.
Physical Requirements / Working Environment :
Mostly office environment sitting at a desk and operating a personal computer to produce work products with some field visits as required.
Periodic field visits :
Applicant must have ability to endure outdoor environments in uncomfortable temperatures, inclement weather, and remote locations.
Licenses :
Valid State of Florida Driver's License.

Starting Salary Range :
Engineer I - $61,318.40 - $76,648.00
Engineer II - $65,603.20 - $82,014.40
Starting salary is based on qualifications and experience.
