    The Company is seeking a Vice President, Product Development with a strong background in EdTech software development and DevOps. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving innovation and implementing cutting-edge technological approaches to ensure the seamless development, user experience, and cloud hosting operations that support literacy products for students and educators. This role demands a leader with a proven track record in fostering collaboration across disciplines to build and scale technology architectures, QA processes, UX and design practices, and infrastructure. The Vice President will also be tasked with driving the organization to achieve scalable portfolio growth and creating a lasting impact on student performance and educator effectiveness. Key responsibilities for the Vice President include technology and engineering leadership, driving the adoption of emerging technologies, and overseeing the end-to-end software development process. The role also involves leading DevOps and hosting strategy, optimizing cloud infrastructure, and ensuring security best practices. The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years of experience in EdTech software development and DevOps, with a strong preference for those with a background in the K12 industry. Exceptional leadership, team-building, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work closely with both business and technical teams. The role requires a candidate with advanced technical knowledge, experience in both web and native app development, and a background in cloud security, compliance, and disaster recovery planning.
