Overview Pay range for this position is $21.22 - $30.98 / hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. POSITION SUMMARY : The PACE Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) utilizes physiological, psychological and spiritual knowledge to care for a variety of participants. The LPN functions as a part of a multi-disciplinary team to meet the needs of participants and recognizes the direct relationship between the effective / efficient provision of care and services to the participant. Under physician orders, delivers selected treatments, procedures, and / or tests and basic participant care for the participant on an intermittent basis while supervised by the RN. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide participant care that is appropriate to the ages of the participants served. This requires that the individual demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development as well as the physical, emotional and psychosocial needs of the participant population served. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS : Education : High School Diploma / GED Experience : One year of experience working with the frail or elderly population or, if the individual has less than one year of experience but meets all other requirements, must receive appropriate training from the PACE organization on working with a frail or elderly population upon hiring. Licensure / Certification : LPN; BLS from the American Heart Association Other Skills / Knowledge : Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented. Provides own transportation and auto insurance and abides by all laws, rules and recommendations for safe driving while on duty. Maintains a valid driver's license.
