Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer for a 13-week day shift assignment requiring current CCI, AE, or RDCS certification and Epic experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a cardiology setting as an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer
  • Day shift schedule with 5x8 hour shifts, Monday through Friday from 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM
  • No regular weekend shifts required
  • Must work 2 out of the 3 winter holidays during the contract
  • Candidates may be asked to float within their scope of practice within the facility
  • Epic EMR experience is required
  • Candidates must be willing to float to different units within their scope of practice
  • Up to 40 hours of RTO may be considered per 13-week contract; no additional RTO requests after acceptance
  • Return policy requires at least 12 months separation before reapplying to the facility as a traveler
  • Travelers are not eligible to return after working 365 days regardless of separation period
  • Orientation modules are completed during onboarding and are billable over 16 hours
  • Must communicate any vacation plans between sign date and start date at the time of application
  • Background screening required
  • Scrub and dress code details will be provided prior to start

    • Requirements

  • Current valid CCI, AE, or RDCS certification is required
  • Proof of state license is required if applicable; pending state licenses accepted with license in-hand prior to start
  • Minimum experience as outlined in the job description
  • References are required for consideration
  • Copy of required certifications must be provided
  • Nursys verification required
  • Epic charting system experience is required
